| Online sales of Buganda certificates planned for October 2006 |
| |
After more than one year of planning, technical analysis, and business negotiations, preparations for the sale of Buganda certificates online are being finalized. If all goes according to plan, starting October 2006, you will be able to conveniently buy Buganda certificates from GandaSpace. Under Uganda laws, Kabaka and his government are considered a cultural organization and is not allowed to collect taxes. Yet the Buganda government funds an annual budget of a few million dollars, to provide education, health, agricultural, and other services to the people of Buganda. The Buganda certificates enable you to support these services. You will be able to pay by credit card, US Dollar bank check, Western Union, or Moneygram. |

| Online Luganda School in the works – what do you think? |
| |
Due to persistent demands from GandaAncestry.com and GandaSpace.com, over the past 12 months, we are seriously considering to start a formal online Luganda school. According to preliminary plans, the courses would be designed in such a way that you will learn both written and spoken Luganda on a 100% self-service basis. To make this happen, the courses will “talk” and use images extensively, similar to the Luganda online dictionary. We wish to involve you, our community, as much as possible in designing the courses, so, if you have any suggestions or questions please drop us a note at lugandaschool@GandaSpace.com. |
